The highlight of our spring calendar – the flagship auction – will take place on Day 1 of the sale (lots 1-279), featuring many important pieces from renowned collections, among them a monumental sandstone statue of Vishnu from the Angkor period (lot 183), a rare 16th-century thangka of the seventeen-deity Tara Mandala (lot 22), and an important Song-dynasty Dingyao figure of Shoulao (lot 142).

The general auction will follow on Day 2 (lots 280-648) offering items for avid art collectors and first-time buyers alike.

Notable Collector’s Provenances include the fifth Prince Ding, Zai Quan, one of the Qianlong Emperor’s great-grandsons; Queen Maria of Yugoslavia; George Eumorfopoulos, co-founder and first president of the Oriental Ceramic Society; Dr. Wou Kiuan, diplomat and founder of the Wou Lien-Pai museum; Paul-Émile Naggiar, Ambassador of France to China from 1936 to 1938; as well as many prestigious names such as Sir Joseph Hotung, Dr. Isidore Cohn, Alan and Simone Hartman, Mary McFadden, the Chasseloup-Laubat Family, Kono Shuson, John “Moke” Mokotoff, Lionel and Danielle Fournier, and Academy Award winner Michael Phillips.
