Galerie Zacke is delighted to present Fine Japanese Art, a carefully curated auction celebrating Japanese invention, culture, religion and art. The sale features important metalware, exceptional Buddhist art, and notable lacquer works of art.

Highlights include several impressive okimono: jizai okimono of a skeleton (lot 44), a hawk (lot 45), and a dragon fish (lot 46), as well as silver okimono of a dragon (lot 54) and a chin dog (lot 52). Also of note are monumental Buddhist figures, such as a pair of bronze Nio guardians (lot 37), a gilt wood figure of Seishi Bosatsu (lot 34), and a gilt and lacquered wood figure of Amida Nyorai (lot 36).
