A FAMILLE ROSE ‘MILLEFLEUR’ VASE, LATE QING DYNASTY TO REPUBLIC PERIOD
Lot 552-FAS0425
China, 1850-1920. The baluster body rising from a splayed foot to a long slender neck set with blue enameled twin-fish handles. The body covered in a myriad of floral blossoms, including peony, lotus, chrysanthemums, iris, and magnolia, all above a gilt ground.
Provenance: From a private collection in Zagreb, Croatia. An old label to the neck, ‘24X12 4189’ and inscribed in Chinese.
Condition: Minor wear and manufacturing irregularities, little rubbing to the enamels and gilt, the rim with a nick and associated hairline, glaze losses to handles.

The recessed base with an apocryphal iron-red six-character seal mark da Qing Qianlong nianzhi.

- Bidders must complete their due diligence and clarify all questions about the objects before the auction. After the auction, Zacke will not answer questions from bidders unless the purchase price has been paid in full. Of course, this does not apply to questions concerning shipping, insurance, customs, etc.
- A sale cancellation of any kind after the fall of the hammer is not possible. The only exception to this fundamental rule is our guarantee of authenticity [the Guarantee].
- A Guarantee Claim, however, can only be raised after the purchase price has been paid in full by the buyer and within 45 days after the auction day.
