A BLACK OVERLAY GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE, QING DYNASTY
LOT 443 - AK0623
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The snuff bottle of rounded rectangular shape, with a wide mouth bearing a flat lip, and raised on a black-rimmed oval foot. Carved in relief through the black layer to the transparent ground with a basket of flowers, a pair of birds, and various other auspicious symbols.
Condition: Good condition with minimal surface wear, and minor nibbling to the foot and lip.
Provenance: Hungarian private collection.
Stopper: Green glass with black platelet, carved spoon with an old collector’s number ‘82’
Weight: 23.4 g
Dimensions: Height including stopper 66 mm. Diameter neck 15 mm and mouth 7 mm

The main points include the following:
- Bidders must complete their due diligence and clarify all questions about the objects before the auction. After the auction, Zacke will not answer questions from bidders unless the purchase price has been paid in full. Of course, this does not apply to questions concerning shipping, insurance, customs, etc.
- A sale cancellation of any kind after the fall of the hammer is not possible. The only exception to this fundamental rule is our guarantee of authenticity [the Guarantee].
- A Guarantee Claim, however, can only be raised after the purchase price has been paid in full by the buyer and within 45 days after the auction day.
