A FACETED YELLOW GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE

China, Republic period (1912-1949). The snuff bottle of a cylindrical shape with heptagonal facets, boasting a short cylindrical neck with a flat lip. The bottle with a translucent yellow glass body.
Condition: Very good condition with minimal surface wear, slight surface scratches, miniscule nibbling to the mouth, and manufacturing irregularities.
Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Dr. István Zelnik, President of the Hungarian South and Southeast Asian Research Institute, is a former high-ranking Hungarian diplomat who spent several decades in Southeast Asia, building the largest known private collection of Asian art in Europe.

- Bidders must complete their due diligence and clarify all questions about the objects before the auction. After the auction, Zacke will not answer questions from bidders unless the purchase price has been paid in full. Of course, this does not apply to questions concerning shipping, insurance, customs, etc.
- A sale cancellation of any kind after the fall of the hammer is not possible. The only exception to this fundamental rule is our guarantee of authenticity [the Guarantee].
- A Guarantee Claim, however, can only be raised after the purchase price has been paid in full by the buyer and within 45 days after the auction day.
