A TRANSLUCENT RUBY-RED GLASS BOTTLE VASE, QIANLONG MARK AND PERIOD
LOT 701- AK0124
China, Qianlong mark and period, 1736-1795. The bulbous body is raised on a spreading foot with a slightly recessed base and rises to a tall, cylindrical neck with thick walls. The translucent glass is of a deep red color. The recessed base incised with a four-character Qianlong reign mark within a double square.
Condition: With light surface scratches and minor wear, the body with cracks and repairs.
Provenance: Sigurd Reininghaus (1933-1981). From the collection of Dr. Ferdinand and Dr. Gudrun Thaler-Szulyovsky, acquired from the above and thence by descent in the same family. The couple, who had both been practicing law, met in 1967 through their mutual passion for art. Together they built a substantial and diverse art collection over many decades.

- Bidders must complete their due diligence and clarify all questions about the objects before the auction. After the auction, Zacke will not answer questions from bidders unless the purchase price has been paid in full. Of course, this does not apply to questions concerning shipping, insurance, customs, etc.
- A sale cancellation of any kind after the fall of the hammer is not possible. The only exception to this fundamental rule is our guarantee of authenticity [the Guarantee].
- A Guarantee Claim, however, can only be raised after the purchase price has been paid in full by the buyer and within 45 days after the auction day.
