AN ARCHAISTIC GREEN AND RUSSET JADE ‘CHILONG WITH LINGZHI’ BI DISK, MING DYNASTY
LOT 108 - FAS0424
China, 1368-1644. Finely carved in high relief with two prowling chilong, one holding a lingzhi sprout in its mouth, the ferocious beasts well detailed with pricked ears and furcated tails. The translucent jade is of a deep green tone with fine russet hues, icy veins, and cloudy inclusions.
Provenance: German private collection, acquired before 1990 in Berlin.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and light nibbling to edges. The jade with natural fissures, some of which have developed into small hairline cracks.

After the auction, Zacke will not answer questions from bidders unless the purchase price has been paid in full. Of course, this does not apply to questions concerning shipping, insurance, customs, etc.

- A Guarantee Claim, however, can only be raised after the purchase price has been paid in full by the buyer and within 45 days after the auction day.
