The two-case gold lacquer inro simulating four cases, of tall, lenticular form and oval section, bearing a lustrous kinji ground, finely decorated in iro-e hiramaki-e and takamaki-e, as well as kirigane, to depict a busy landscape dotted with pavilions, thatched roofs, a bridge, a waterfall, and boats, the view partially obstructed by dense clouds. The interior compartments of nashiji with gold fundame rims.

Condition: With minor wear and some cracks and losses around the cord holes, edges, and base, the base with a bruise, otherwise good condition.
