By the Kajikawa family, signed Kajikawa saku with koro seal Ei
Japan, 19th century, Edo period (1615-1868)

Of upright rounded form and oval section, bearing a fine kinji ground, worked in hiramaki-e and kirigane flakes, depicting three red-crowned cranes (tanchozuru) standing near a reed riverbank. The interior covered in fine nashiji with gold fundame rims. Signed to the base KAJIKAWA SAKU (made by Kajikawa) and the koro seal Ei in red lacquer.

Condition: Good condition with minor wear, traces of use and age, small nicks and tiny losses to edges, and minor rubbing to lacquer.

After the auction, Zacke will not answer questions from bidders unless the purchase price has been paid in full.   • A Guarantee Claim, however, can only be raised after the purchase price has been paid in full by the buyer and within 45 days after the auction day.
