The inro of slightly lobed form, lacquered in a lustrous red, and inlaid in shakudo, gilt metal, and copper, depicting on one side Emma-O, on the other side Fudo Myo-O, and a mon with kiku blossom inlaid in metal to the top. The interior in nashiji and with fundame edges.
With a yakimono (porcelain) ojime decorated in blue and red enamels with tendrils and inscription.
HEIGHT 4.1 cm, LENGTH 4.7 cm
Condition: The inro with light wear and rubbing, small bruises to the top, few age cracks, minor flaking to the lacquer, nibbling to the edges, the upper compartment with a loose rim.
