China, 1644-1912. Finely carved as a crouching rabbit with long curved ears laid back along the sides of its arched back. Pierced between the chin and front paws for suspension as a pendant. The translucent stone with a smooth polish and of a nearly pure celadon tone with light yellow clouds and minuscule dark gray inclusions. Good polish with an unctuous feel overall.
Provenance: From a notable private collection in Bavaria, Germany.
Condition: Very good condition with some old wear, small nicks here and there, minor signs of weathering.
