The shallow dish with rounded sides rising to a scalloped rim, finely decorated in bright enamels and gilt, some elements in high relief, the interior depicts a scene with many Arhats and other figures in a court setting, along with a swirling dragon. The backside with gilt ornamental decoration, and the recessed base with a gilt inscription: Satsuma no Kuni, Jisshoin-saku, Tomomitsu-ga, Jitsu.
