The dish painted in turquoise, green, black, and red enamels, the central roundel inscribed with the characters tian xia i (everything under the heavens), enclosed by a ring with the characters for the twenty-four points of the Chinese compass, the rim adorned with leaping carps and stylized foliate sprays.
Condition: Fair condition with chips to the mouth rim, wear to the enamels, two hairlines to the mouth rim, and firing flaws.
