China, 1573-1619. The deep rounded sides of the ‘Kraak’ ware dish rising from a short tapered foot to a broad everted rim. Finely painted to the interior with a star-shaped medallion enclosing a butterfly hovering above a grasshopper perched on a rocky outcrop amid chrysanthemums, surrounded by diapered designs enclosed by a double-line border, surrounded by alternate radiating reserves enclosing auspicious symbols and flowering fruits, and to the exterior with similar reserves enclosing lingzhi.
Provenance: Old Swedish private collection, thence by descent. Old inventory label to base, ‘833’.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing flaws, including pitting and dark spots, the rim with minor fritting.

萬曆時期青花開光花卉湖石蚱蜢大盤
中國,1573-1619年。克拉克瓷盤敞口外翻,淺弧腹,圈足。盤心繪一蚱蜢停在湖石上,旁邊是菊花等花卉。盤內壁可見如意形開光,裡面似繪雜寶紋。外壁大小開光相隔,大開光內繪花卉。
來源:瑞典私人老收藏,保存至今。底足收藏舊標籤“833”。
品相:狀況極好,有輕微磨損和燒製瑕疵,包括點蝕和黑點,邊沿有輕微熔結。
