A YING SCHOLAR’S ROCK, QING DYNASTY
清代英石賞石

China, 1644-1912. The organic form well-balanced on a narrow hardwood stand, with furrows and hollows as well as a large, central perforation. The surface with characteristic small, rounded dimples. The stone of a deep grey color overall and with distinct calcified veining. (2)
Provenance: British trade.
Condition: The stone with minor dents, small losses, few nicks, and natural fissures, some of which have developed into small cracks over time. Extensive old wear, naturally grown patina overall. The wood base with expected minor age cracks and light surface scratches.
Weight: 6.7 kg (excl. stand) and 7.5 kg (incl. stand)
Dimensions: Height 46.5 cm (excl. stand) and 53.6 cm (incl. stand)

For example, if you have a bid limit of €1,000 and place two winning bids for €300 and €200, then you will only be able to bid €500 for the rest of the auction. If you try to place a bid that is higher than €500, you will not be able to do so.
