A MING-STYLE BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS BOUQUET' DISH, 18TH CENTURY
十八世紀仿明青花一束蓮盤

China. The rounded sides rising from a foot ring to a thick lipped rim. The interior is decorated in blue underglaze with a tied bouquet of lotus flowers and leaves, the cavetto depicts a composite flower scroll below a key-fret scroll which is repeated on the exterior.
Provenance: Southern French trade.
Condition: Condition commensurate with age, with significant wear and traces of use such as surface scratches, extensive fritting to the edge, some manufacturing irregularities such as pitting, one hairline.

Your bid limit will be the maximum amount you can bid during the auction. Your bid limit is for the hammer price and is not affected by the buyer’s premium and VAT. For example, if you have a bid limit of €1,000 and place two winning bids for €300 and €200, then you will only be able to bid €500 for the rest of the auction. If you try to place a bid that is higher than €500, you will not be able to do so.
