A FAMILLE ROSE FIGURE OF GUANYIN, QING DYNASTY
清代粉彩書卷觀音

China, 1644-1912. Depicting the goddess seated with her right leg raised, dressed in flowing robes, painted in polychrome enamels and gilt, the different layers of the robe finely decorated with Shou and wan symbols interspersed with ruyi shaped clouds on light yellow ground, the upper layer with bamboo leaves and prunus blossoms on turquoise ice crack ground, and with a blue hem, opening at the chest to reveal a beaded pendant, her black hair tied in a high chignon under a red cowl decorated with roundels depicting sinuous snakes, holding a scroll in her left and a red vase in her right hand. The back with a square aperture.
Provenance: Property from the private collection of Walter Knoke (1885-1952), assembled in China during the 1920s and 1930s, and thence by descent in the same family.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear, mostly to the gilt and the black enamels, and firing irregularities.

來源：Walter Knoke (1885-1952) 私人收藏, 上世紀二十至三十年代購於中國，自此保存在同一家族至今。
品相：品相極好，輕微磨損，主要是描金和黑色琺瑯部位，以及燒製不規則。

If you try to place a bid that is higher than €500, you will not be able to do so.
