China, 1644-1912. The brush washer finely potted with rounded sides rising from a tapered foot, applied with a glaze of rich crimson-red color thickening towards the foot, the interior and underside with a crackled creamy glaze, the ring foot left unglazed. The brush rest modeled in the form of a stylized mountain with five peaks, the exterior and hollow interior covered in a crackled celadon glaze, stopping evenly above the unglazed foot rim.

Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing imperfections.
