A VASE, A SPOON AND TWO BOWLS, CHINA, 19TH-20TH CENTURY

The small vase is from a Jingdezhen kiln and shows a classic Shanshui motif on the sides as well as a seal script six-character mark and a second mark in English reading “Oriental Hand Painted Made in China”. The spoon features gold lacquer decorations in the form of an abstract floral pattern. Although this spoon was crafted in the Chinese style it was probably produced in Europe, possibly France. The two drinking bowls are decorated with stylized lotus flowers, bats as well as a stylized character Shou 壽, for “long life”, and show an iron red four character mark “Qianlong nian zhi”.

Dimensions: HEIGHT VASE 16.5 CM, LENGTH SPOON 19.2 CM, HEIGHT BOWL 5.1 & 5.3 CM, DIAMETER BOWL 11.5 & 11.7 CM
Condition: The spoon has a small chip on the rim of the head and is otherwise in good condition. The vase and two bowls are in very good condition
