A TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF BUDDHA, 19TH CENTURY
Southeast Asia. Seated in padmasana on a double lotus base, wearing long robes opening at the chest, the tight curls surmounted by an ushnisha and flanked by long earlobes.
Condition: Extensive moss green patina, soiling, flakes, chips, exposed to weathering in a castle garden for at least 100 years.
Provenance: From a lady of nobility.
