A GLAZED TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF A DIGNITARY RIDING AN ELEPHANT, MID-QING
China, mid-Qing dynasty (1644-1912). The rider and elephant both modeled in an animated fashion. The remains of cement on the back suggest this piece was used as a roof tile or wall decoration. Associated hardwood base. (2)
