PART OF A BURMESE ALTAR, 19th TO EARLY 20th CENTURY
Burma. Of square shape, lacquered in gold with multitudes of glass inlay. Likely part of a large and decorative altar. Could be fashioned into an attractive small altar for a sculpture.
Condition: Missing other parts and general wear consistent with age.
Provenance: Austrian private collection, acquired before 1930.
