The National Bank of Ukraine has opened a current account for the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine for humanitarian purposes. The Ministry of Social Policy will channel the raised funds to support Ukraine’s citizens severely affected by the war. Donations will help provide food, shelter, clothing, and medicine to refugees and citizens displaced due to military conflict.
Zacke no longer does business in Russia. Although we have significant exposure in this country, we will not accept any bids, any payments, or any consignments from Russia until this war is over. Additionally, we are winding down all existing consignment relationships with sellers in Russia.
Although only a small company, our team is quite diverse – with the majority of our employees coming from outside Austria. We have a colleague from Syria, who fled from war, and others who were born behind the iron curtain. The ongoing events are a deeply personal issue for us, and watching a war unfold in the heart of Europe is almost unbearable. Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine, and everyone else impacted.
